Beautifull house !!!
On weekdays, the parking lot (regular cars) was free. The roses were blooming and the garden was well maintained. You can tour the building for ¥510. I could see Mt. Fuji from my room on the second floor. This was my first visit and it was very nice.
It was very nice to have a beautiful and dramatic garden and a wonderful building that blends Japanese and Western styles.
However, rather than its historical value, the facility felt more like a memorial museum to a local celebrity who celebrated a part of modern history such as the Fujisawa Pilgrimage, and I didn't have the impression of a natural history.
However, the view of the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Fuji, and bougainvillea from the window was truly spectacular, and I thought it was the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll.
Beautiful garden.

When I went there on the 1st, it was unexpectedly closed, so I wasn't able to tour the inside of the mansion.
Please note that holidays are not displayed on Google Maps.
Like other museums, it seems to be closed every Monday.
Parking is free except on holidays.
The residence of a famous politician (rebuilt due to a fire).
Oiso Town has many villas of wealthy people and villas of cultural figures.
I was able to learn about the environments in which these famous figures grew up, including their international backgrounds.
The building was destroyed in a fire and was recently restored, so it looks new, but you can still feel the atmosphere.
I could see his relationships with famous people of his time from the materials on display, and I got a sense of his influence from the black telephone that directly connected him to the prime minister's office.
It took me a while to arrive at the mountain hut cafe at 15:30. Since it said it was open until 16:00, I thought I'd just take a look at the exterior and go home, but I was told that you can enter at 16:00 and leave at 16:30, so I decided to enter. As expected from Shigeru Yoshida's house, it is quite impressive. The dining room and sunroom give it an international feel, while the Japanese cypress bath and the Golden Room with a view of Mt. Fuji are luxurious enough to let you enjoy Japan at its best. The roses I received from interacting with overseas celebrities are also blooming in December, which is amazing. It must be difficult to take care of. It also felt like a politician's house had a hidden escape route for counter-terrorism ninjas.
